Production process of high-precision fuel filter paper
General fuel filter adopts star filter paper folding structure. In this type of fuel filter, the folded filter paper is connected with both ends of the plastic or metal filter. After the dirty oil enters, it reaches the center through the multi-layer filter paper filtered from the outer wall of the filter, and the clean fuel flows out. This filter paper generally uses corrugated fuel filter paper.
More high-end engines use high-precision filter paper and spiral fuel filter, which is different from star fuel filter. The filter paper is wound on the central pipe, which has high space utilization. In the same space size, it can accommodate a larger filter area, usually three times the size of the star filter. After entering, the dirty oil flows out directly after being filtered by the filter paper, and the impurity particles remain in the filter paper tank. This fuel filter has better performance and can make the fuel filter more precise.

1.Process ratio:
(1)Iris coniferous wood pulp 50%;
(2)Bowater conifer 50%;
(3)Wet strength agent dosage: 5% (for absolute dry pulp);
(4)Amount of surface water-resistant agent (6% concentration):20%
2.Determination of process parameters
In order to consider the relationship between paper strength, pore size and air permeability, the pulp must also undergo necessary beating. Proper tapping degree is conducive to ensuring the binding force between fibers and reducing the maximum pore size. After repeated comparison, we believe that when the pulp knock is 17 ° SR, the indexes of the finished paper are the closest to the requirements, and the final pulp parameters are determined as 17 ° SR, and the wet weight is 9-10g.
3.Wrinkle scraper selection
The main purpose of filter paper wrinkling is to increase the effective filtering area of the filter element, and there are a lot of grooves on the filter paper, which can accommodate more dust and prolong the service life of the filter. The fold depth is determined by the thickness of the fold scraper and the fold angle. According to the test of actual production paper samples, when the wrinkling scraper thickness is 1.0mm and the wrinkling angle is 25 °, the wrinkling depth of the filter paper meets the requirements.
4.Application of water-resistant adhesive
The surface of other filter paper is coated with waterproof resin to make the filter paper have sufficient strength and waterproof performance to ensure the subsequent processing of the filter element. However, the high-precision filter paper has wrinkled before the sizing machine. If the surface sizing technology of ordinary filter paper is used to re-print the waterproof adhesive, wrinkles will disappear or become shallow. Therefore, how to apply waterproof glue on the paper becomes the technical key to produce high-precision filter paper. After various considerations, the waterproof adhesive was coated by surface spraying, and good results were obtained.
5.Features of high-precision filter paper:
(1)The surface of the filter layer is evenly sprayed with a layer of high-strength oil-resistant emulsion layer, which increases the strength, rigidity and oil-resistance of the fuel filter paper, thus improving its filtering accuracy and service life;
(2)Using the drying method of hot air in the drying channel, the permeability and loose thickness of the filter paper are maintained, and the drying degree is greatly improved after drying.
